PAL+ (PAL Plus) training in Dartford
Need PAL+ Training? Based in Dartford? We can help!
We can provide PAL+ training as an enhancement to your existing IPAF category 1a, 1b, 3a, or 3b training on a wide range of cherry pickers and scissor lifts. This advanced operator training prepares you for safe working in higher risk and challenging environments.
One day PAL+ course
Our course includes both theory and practical training, helping an operator understand why accidents happen and how to prevent them. It covers:
- Site risk assessment
- identifying hazards
- cordoning off an area
- allocating emergency personnel
- Self-familiarisation
- full awareness of the MEWP and each of its parts
- Travel
- checking the ground route
- how to drive and move the MEWP
- steering and position
- how to travel through restricted areas and space
- continual observation
- Working at height
- correct positioning of MEWP
- using spreader plates
- manoeuvring in a confined overhead space
- Operating in general
The PAL+ course costs £325 +VAT per person, including IPAF registration.
Our nearest training location to Dartford is Facelift Ashford. If this is not suitable for you, we have alternative training centres around the UK.
